Personally, I see no need in gog version ASAP, since this game is already drm-free there (steam is required only for download - you can then throw game on stick and play anywere). And also understand why they might ignore it, for the time being (game feature a bit of online functional (messages and ghosts of dead people), which is probably hardcoded to steam (since they doesnt work if steam isnt running)).
But, if they will decide to release it there - I ll constantly double my purchase. S&S is the only game, I've bought for a full price and wont mind to do so again (after more than 150 hours of playing with different builds)
