Light armor to wear?
Can someone suggest best light armor to wear on NG+2? Im currently finishing NG+ armorless and it turns into ragequitfest, since pre-endgame boss insta-kills you with his spear's lighting attacks. I think, I ll finish it that way anyway (for challenge and such), but its not something, I ll wanna see on NG+2

I still use the crimson set. By the way there is a shield (Lvl 4) you can get in the castle that if upgraded all the way uses zero stamina when blocking. Its absolutely broken but awesome when fighting a boss with a hard to evade attack.

nah, I dont use shields. Btw - there are lot of much better shields, like tower with some numbers in name (forgot, how it's name, but it provides 100% defence against all physicall attacks and nearly 100% against others), or ashen effigy (100% def against arcane damage)

Light armor isn't very useful aside from some elemental resistances. Seems like its the same as in dark souls. Going naked, dodging, and using the attack speed talisman / roll distance rings etc seem like the safest playstyle. Grotesque memorization of the bosses attack patterns are necessary for veteran masochists to climb the new game+ ladder. But you already know all this...

Going naked isnt good thing since the end of NG+ and above. Ever if mobs wont one-shot you - bosses will.
And heavy armor isnt that good either - I have knight with it, who's encumbance is 4x higher, than weight of all my equip - it rolls like my grandma

Bloodbrow set is quite good among the light ones. Actually, it is really armor unlike many other light sets.

Gotta say I don't much enjoy endurance essentially being the NG+ stat. Made a character for playing around with. 67 stamina so I can use most of a titan set. Armour still is only rarely saving my life, and str/wil are minimal. It works anyway because roll timing == invincibility, but it's not hard to see it would be far better to have minimal armour and 50 str instead.

I'm 75% rolling but sacrificing a bit of endurance and just fatrolling isn't really an option. Instead have to get a tower shield, which means I still need 65+ end to stay below 100%.
