Can I remove the OJ items from my Steam Inventory?
Title. Is there a way in-game, off-game, to remove the unwanted items in my inventory? Thanks.

You can sell OJ items marked as Marketable, or trade off Tradable items to friends. Some, like the presents from latest DLC, are marked as Not Tradable or Not Marketable, and those you're stuck with.

It looks like I have to play 6 games before 3 days pass to be able to clean my inventory. I'm done with this game, by the way. Had a lot of fun and frustration for over 500 hours.

I'm sorry, but what?
You're leaving this game just because you can't keep your inventory clean?

There's no way to remove items currently.
We might possibly add it in the future for some items, but we want to prevent cases where users accidentally remove rare items or other items they wanted since there's no way for us to return the items.

Take that to Valve, they're the ones that should add that option.

Can you make an options "do not show up items in my Steam inventory"? I don't want to have inventory like THIS USER [i.imgur.com] only because devs making "Not Tradable, Not Marketable" items.

yeah, they can't do nothing about that. send a ticket to valve for a feature like that

If they're not shown it's because they just don't exist as a steam inventory item and they're either stored in your savedata or they items are hosted in a global server for the game. There's no such thing as an "Invisible inventory item". A lot of games removed inventory items by moving their data to their own game servers and whatnot but that has nothing to do with the developers flagging the steam items as "Invisible" (That flag doesn't even exist).

This is only going to be used more and more moving forward with this game, especially now that the XMAS event pet is a steam inventory item. Every future pet, new currency and gacha drop is going to act the same way, get used to it.

I'm leaving the game because it has become close to a gacha game, without the real money aspect, but still as annoying. The challenges and non-stopping DLCs have also irked me for some time now but weren't enough to drive me away.

But yes, I'm a bit of a neat freak. So, because I'm leaving the game, I want to clear the inventory (not the other way around).

Understandable, it's your choice so I have nothing to say
Might be a good idea to make such items tradable (but not marketable, like the fireworks), so if having an uneven amount of stuff like christmas currency or having things you don't want inventory bugs your OCD you can just give it to someone else or offload it onto an alt for later, rather than outright deleting them
Plus you'd be able to gift spare currency to a friend if they can't play during the event or are just barely missing some of it but can't play anymore in the near future
I am inclined to agree with the following ideas:

1. Ask Valve to make a way to not show certain game categories in one's inventory page.

2. Make non-marketable items tradeable as well.

Please don't spam useless messages, because you don't know what devs able to do. I already had experience removing items from "SpeedRunners" and "Don't Starve Together" by devs. When I tried contact Valve all what they said: "We can't manage Steam inventory. You should contact with developers".

sorry for my english
Game devs can remove items. Game devs can't fix a stupid interface element on the Steam site; that's Valve's job.

That said, removing items just because the interface can't be fixed is like cutting off one's toes to avoid getting mud between them. Much better to invent shoes instead.

all items should be tradeable - otherwise according to roman law they are not your property
ALL items in game should be tradeable items to allow free trade between users - market will decide values automatically

Actually, being the top was being the manliest thing ever. being a bottom was the worst of the worst because you became the "woman" for another man
I don't think this is true but I've heard about it somewhere lmao
