2. 3 attacker shifu + 1 support tequila. Tequila can either use hyper to wear off the shield for shifu or let pirate minions to deal some serious damage once the shield is gone. You can also obtain the Efficiency Theory achievement.
I beat it with this strategy before it's nerfed.

3. High level teammates. With all people being lv 20+ there's no way to lose unless some newbie take control of some CPUs.

This got us the win on pre-nerf M10 Robot, even.
The problem with that strategy was that once M10 loses its Protect stacks, it deals a ridiculous amount of counter-damage – kinda offsetted by Sweebo's high health, Alte's SD and Natsumi's healing, but with two characters having REC 6, it was a miracle we've done it on the first try.
The run I had was with attacker NoName, Healer Tequila, Avenger Alte, and Defender Suguri v2. Sherry can replace Tequila if need be, but pirates will force combat and also get rid of the heal per turn, which is the main problem aside from laser spam.
