Probably a bug then? Or they worded it wrong. On that note, there's no clear indicator for Krilla's Dancing Beasts that she can overheal from it, either. The wording "Gain HP" is pretty vague about that.
Now i wonder how it works with other player-activated field-damage effects...? Would Fernet overheal like crazy from an Air Strike? Would it give Tomomo a massive health buff from Magic Massacre? Would Sealed Guardian count and heal the just-caused damage to oneself? Or even simple cards like Cloud of Seagulls, or Marc nuking someone?
Sounds pretty cheesy if regular battle-damage also overheals you, as if stuff like Specs/Accellerator weren't strong enough!
Hm, and what about traps? If they give credit to the one who set it, would it give Saki/SB a massive heal...? (Still never figured out of Brutal Prank or Pures gives Natsumi stars for being credited with the healing effect, heh...)
I'll check it out, but it was rather OP
So what you said was either never the case, or they patched it without mentioning it at all.
I can't believe it took me almost 2 hours just to DRAW Bloodlust... but ya, it doesn't do it any more.
Must have been a bug and they fixed it.
....I don't have the pumpkin hat so I don't know if they fixed the Pumpkin Cuties bug, though.

And, here's what it looked like before, for comparison:

It doesn't seem to, so it might be intentional... not sure.
It's one of the reasons she's actually pretty decent against Star Devourer, since she can keep Ransom Notes safely, and only toss them when everyone else has finished tossing their own.
Ya, I get the immune to gifts part, that's why I'm wondering why it's possible to discard Unlucky Charm away for a cost, instead of discarding it for free
And to think one of the achievements is actually about that... lol
-All effects - positive and negative - are negated. Even "lose on KO" effects will not trigger. And "do X on discard" effects (like Banned for Life's hand-burning effect) do not trigger either. The "do X on end of turn" effects also do not trigger, either. Though i assume Ransom Note still gives the paid stars to Devourer.
-Gift Cards that cannot normally be used can be used (such as Evil Spy Work - Execution).
-Used Gift Cards will merely be discarded, instead of being passed on if that was their normal effect.
-The cost you would've paid to use the gift card normally still applies (you still pay 1/10 or so stars for Banned, 5xlevel for Unlucky Charm, 30 for Miracle Bean Icecream, Ransom Note costs stars too if you're the 2nd to 4th to play it that chapter as well, and so on).
-And of course Nico gains additional stars per held Gift Card.

Well. Field damage for Bloodlust should be interesting. Wonder if it works with Sealed Guardian, to heal from the damage you dealt to others and negate being on 1HP yourself?
Or how about damage-dealing traps? Wonder if anyone tested that yet?
