If it was chat based just ignore them like any others.
Are they teaming up or something?
If so, go full bully, hope for some decent RNG, and introduce them to back to back revive rolls.
Also, if they really were intending to troll, creating this topic feeds into that.
Going so far as to mention them by name means that, in a twisted sense, you let them win.
EDIT: Spectated players in question. Turns out they just beat you super hard at the game and you snapped back at them. The "Harassment" was just them playing normally at KOing you a bunch.
So good job I guess. Welcome to 100% OJ.
But not THAT weak.
That isn't even harassment, just basic tier trash talk over getting wins as a bully character.
You REALLY didn't need to make a topic out of this.
Again, you really didn't need to make a topic.
But as said above, this really doesn't need to be a topic whatsoever. These things happen in most (if not all) games, and you have to get used to them.
They mentioned what YOU said to them.
Honestly it was arguably worse than what they said to you.
The entire situation is a petty squabble and didn't need a topic.
Except that you could have.
You can (at ANY time, mind you) turn off the chat box ENTIRELY.
Just click the little speech bubble icon next to it.
If these elementary level insults are enough to rile you up to the point of a callout topic, maybe just keep the chatbox off.
Out of sight, out of mind.
"If you take everything to heart and care too much about what other people think, you're never gonna do anything."
Wow I never knew this before, thanks a trillion
Plenty of decent folk out there, its unlikely they would follow and be annoying, anyway.
And yeah, kinda no point in making a topic about it as people mentioned. Trolls are an extreme minority in OJ, almost nonexistant. It's probably the most pleasant online community you could find. (At worst, you'll encounter boring lobbies where everyone grinds/no-one talks. But trolls? In OJ? That's like winning a lottery, to find them.)
That said... I do wish there was a ignore option for specific players, that probably ignores a player's ID/IP/Steam_ID or something, so a name-change can't bypass it. It never hurts to have if you want to talk to someone but ignore a troll in the very same lobby, as rare as that situation is.
(Right now, OJ has no real protection to offer against trolls, which is kinda just ripe and waiting for abuse.)
