I don't know which other maps came from Q1/2 though. You can always take a look at what's available there :
http://www.quakelive.com/#!startamatch
(Arenas tab)
And i found nothing more than these two maps you just listed.
Thanks for the link!
I thought they gave you more maps to play in.
"Access to over 100+ arenas" they say for PRO members.
I know if you join a friend's (pro) game you have access to all the pro stuff. Honestly, I think I've played some really cool maps that way. I never I get to play certain maps when I connect to a game by myself,
That's a shame. Quake 2 has amazing maps. The remake of Warehouse and Q2DM1 look awesome and I could only imagine what others would look like.
OA has a bunch of q1 ports from the GPLed map source release making that legally possible. there's a really good dm3 in there.
QL has ladders btw. They aren't in many maps though since it's only been possible since one or two years. I'm not sure what you mean by platforms but I'm pertty sure that's in QL as well (Q3 too), can you provide an example please?
I doubt that QL could lacking some features from Q1/Q2, but scaling is an issue, which makes direct ports barely playable. But there were a lot of remakes for Q3, for example Q1DM6 - The Dark Zone.
And good ol' from champs.
And DeFrag maps (*dreaming*) :)
