Quake needs to have more memes

Let's face it, Quake is a dying game. A big reason that it is not getting attention these days is because it fails to connect with the younger/wider audience. I think that Quake could reach a lot more people by incorporating "Doge" "rage face" "troll face" "table flipping" "forever alone guy" and other memes into the game.

For example if you get two kills a big Doge face could pop up and say "such double kill, very wow!". Or if you die many times without killing an opponent a "rage face" meme could come on the screen and say "GUN Y U NO KILL OTHER GUY?!"

Memes and mechanics like this can help Quake penetrate the elusive Minecraft, Habbo Hotel, and Runescapes demographic of players by drawing them in with familiar and hilarious images and phrases.

Quake is the opposite of what most video games are nowadays, and thats what's make his reputation.
What i mean, is that most of young players expect to win, to stand a chance against better players on their first match and Quake is not the kind of game where they can stand a chance.
I mean, i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad at Quake, lets face it, but guess what, thats what makes this game good for me, i need to dedicate myself to become good, and my own improvement IS the fun.

Quake won't die anytime soon, because it's still considered as the most skill based fps game, and thats exactly why poeple keep playing it.

On /v/ around 2007 I did see a "v game" which was literally Quake3 with only console game and anime characters in colorful maps. A gif of Cloud in Peach's castle with Yotsuba was posted. I don't know if that ever came out.

Quake is dead because it is a hard game. I can join a CS:S deathmatch and play like an average player. When I join a Quake server, I get destroyed by the experienced players. You actually need to learn how to beat people in this game, and that's why no one is playing it. And also the game is really old. Who wants to stare at the old graphics?
