Quake live is already running?
I hope I'm not missing anything obvious, but I don't know what's going on. After sucessfuly playing a few rounds, I sign out of the game. I come back later and when I try to launch Quake Live steam gives me an error saying that the app is already running.
I've tried loging on and off of steam. I've eaven tried uninstalling it (I can't because the app is apperantly running). Nothing seems to work. Does anyone else have this issue?

I have the same problem. It's weird because I can still play other games, but as soon as I leave that game it says I'm still playing Quake Live.

I played it yesterday, and it's still saying it's already running. I know it isn't, because I've been playing other games and I even checked the processes in the task manager.

Why does it keep running anyway?

Just press WINDOWS+R and open cmd. Then Type "TASKKILL /IM awesomium_process.exe /F" This Application is running inn the BG All the Time. When u start Quake again, it will say it wasnt close right, but ignore ;).

The solution I found was to go to task manager find steam bootstrap in processes. Kill the process and start steam again. Thats the only way i can play the game again.
