Quake Live - Unsupported Resolution

Hey guys, when i start the game, it says the resolution the game launches with is unsupported, i cant find any file to edit my resolution or anything like that.. is there something i can do?

Have you set up any higher resolutions for downsampling in other games? My monitor is 1920x1080, but QL started up the first time at 3200x1800 which is the highest res that I set up for downsampling. Maybe try deleting any higher than native res settings you have set up.

Either edit it (search for r_mode and set it to Number) or delete it.
List on r_mode is:

Mode 1: 400x300

Mode 5: 640x480
Mode 6: 800x450
Mode 7: 852x480
Mode 8: 800x500
Mode 9: 800x600

Mode 11: 1024x576
Mode 12: 1024x768
Mode 13: 1152x864
Mode 14: 1280x720
Mode 15: 1280x768
Mode 16: 1280x800
Mode 17: 1280x1024
Mode 18: 1440x900
Mode 19: 1600x900
Mode 20: 1600x1000
Mode 21: 1680x1050
Mode 22: 1600x1200
Mode 23: 1920x1080
Mode 24: 1920x1200
Mode 25: 1920x1440
Mode 26: 2048x1536
Mode 27: 2560x1600

If you set r_mode -2 it will be your display native resolution
If you set r_mode -1 you may use custom resolution (CVARS r_customWidth and r_customHeight needs to be set).

I have a 1366x768 and i cant find it and it pisses me off.If it is unsupported than this game can suck a big one

My laptop runs at that is it the aspect ratio you bee to change

Yo guys. I got the same laptop resolution and variables set, but something is still not right.

In the supplied picture, the bar at the bottom is supposed to stretch from left to right. (That is also in the HUD I use to play with, and notice the scores (topleft) being offset)

Help, anyone? :-)

You should probably provide the HUD so someone can help you fix it.

^that. A lot of old custom huds don't support widescreen properly and need to be fixed.
