Want to change account. Support doesnt respond.
I already sent 2 or 3 mails to the support a month ago and they didnt respond yet, so what to do now? I want my old main account, which I got back yesterday, on this steam account here. ._.

How have you been contacting them? support@quakelive.com ? Have you received the automatic email response?

You might want to try the game's ticket system from "Account Settings". I suspect their email system is having lots of trouble since a long time ago. I've hear of several instances when people didn't receive the automatic response and the original email didn't seem to reach the support team (or rather guy) either.

I noted the ssme lack of interest from support after a simple password reset request.
these phantom problems companies seem to have mr flashsoul never seem to effect
them taking your money with eagerness and speed as usual.

You know where you can shove your little preconceptions about me. This affected me, actually. My clanmate sent an email which they didn't receive. I sent the same thing and I haven't received an automatic email reply either. I had to contact the support guy through IRC.

Yep and yep, the support email has been wonky for a bit with some moves they did. IRC is your friend with quake live =)

Your best bet at this point if the support ticket from the game client itself doesn't work is probably to PM Sasparillo on QuakeNet although I wouldn't normally recommend that. You can try the official forum's support section too perhaps.

Quake Live rarely respond to support requests. E-Mail support is a feature of Pro account yet they barely provide it. I went months without responses.

And don't even try going to the chat room in IRC as they'll blatantly dog you there too.

Poor attitude from their staff and moderators are near non existent.

Also to note, the servers have been dying over the last few months... No information about it... Though on their site there is a claim that they were being DDOS Attacked.

Talk about a load of cods. That is the lamest excuse for poor server quality that I've ever seen.

Who would DDOS Quakelive and who would get away with doing it for 3 months.

Creating servers often crashes while playing in them. You can no longer create servers on Sydney 2 even while Sydney 1 is unresponsive or glitchy to start servers.

Then after that you can't even close your server down it just gets stuck in the list...

So you want to change some server settings and kill then reopen the server... Well good luck with that... Sometimes you just can't!

Something happened to quakelive not long after going onto steam.

I don't think ID can handle it as it's been obvious that after the release of quake 3 they've been blundering around ever since.

Sasparillo is too busy handing out infractions and banning people for nothing at the forum to handle any real problems. If you want to hear from him just break a minor rule at the QL forum, then when you get your infraction email, respond to that email with your problem. Really all the guy does is analyze every character typed in the forum looking for a reason to ban people. He has no sense of humor and needs a life, and should worry about more serious things than i.e. someone that says "I don't like the changes, I think I'll go back to Q3A" will earn you an Infraction for talking about quitting......really stupid crap.

Yeah, Sasparillo is the biggest loser I've ever encountered on the internet.

I got banned from the QL forums, for forever, because of this post:

"Well, most steam casuals are gone anyways, time to remove the loadouts, universal ammo packs, and item timers. I wonder how many months it will take them to revert back to an old patch? Is anyone working anymore anyways?"


You have been banned for the following reason:

I had no preconceptions about you at all as we don't know each other tbh.
Are you some sort of fanboi as I thought you had one of the dev's on your friends list.
As for the mention of sas and mods in the other posts, I also don't know them.
My reply still stands even to this day no responses from support aka simple

email saying unless I change it - its automatically taken?
Why do you trust an organisation that can change things and lie as it wants
when ever it wants to without accountablility let alone flashsouls bag of chips.
Also it does come across it blatantly thinks verry little of its customers by
ignoring them on all fronts until its time to collect funds etc.

Are you talking about the news about the "new" non-recurring subscriptions?

I don't know exactly how it works, sorry, I subscribed before that with the usual Steam subscription method and cancelled the automatic renewal afterwards. Did you use the non-recurring one and got stuck with an automatic renewal?

As for the support issues, I also think they should fix their ♥♥♥♥. idk why you're so confrontationnal with me.
