btw, I recommend loading maps as a duel using the console. Duel has the auto speed gain completely disabled, so it's the best mode for seeing how well you're doing. So it's devmap mapname duel in the console.

You should aim to be able to achieve 400ups via ground acceleration (without jumping), 500ups via circle jump and pretty much indefinite acceleration via strafe jumping.
