Mouse in the menu not working

Hi

I just started QL up on my machine for the first time & when I reach the menu the mouse pointer is showing further down the screen than it actually is(I can see when I move the mouse that the menu selections become yellow, but the pointer is way off). Any idea how to fix this?

I tried fidling with the video settings & tried In_mouse -1, in_restart, in_mouse 2 - not working.

This is a new rig I am using.

I've seen this mess up if you have some kind of controller (in the past case it was a gamecube controller adapter), that was putting the game into "joystick" mode.

Just to make sure solution is posted in this topic: type in console in_joystick 0 then do in_restart

I had the same problem, my screen is big so I changed the display settings in Win10 to 125%, changed back to 100% and it was fixed. Do it a couple of times and you don't need to restart the pc. Hope it sorts your problem.

Go into the file properties for "quakelive_steam.exe" and in the compatability tab uncheck "display scaling on high DPI settings"

in_joystick 0
in_restart
