IMO ! THIS GAME IS HACKED TO F**K, RUN BY CRIMINALS !
probably freekin satantards.....
interrupted connection while in game,
steam disconnections,
many suspicious port scans after such problems.
Now i cant play certain servers due to Unpure Client, Invalid .PK3 errors, that I cant fix, no matter what I do...
MY PC IS ONCE AGAIN BEING HACKED VIA ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ !!!!

I think, most ppl think of quake hacking is wall hacks & bots (btw, many ppls have claimed to suspect those prior steam merg) but theres anouther side that I believe is more releveant now. Its more effecting/ creating strange lag ,fake pings/ locations, uglyness (warp/ stepping) making hard to hit (all old school), not to mention aparent teamwork in ffa (thats cheating also).
The idea of cheats, like hackers, is that ppl dont suspect them & apparently this is said to be the Art of Bottting. This can be acheived by the botting is 'switchable'. Most quake hackers are very experienced players/ hackers & this hides their cheating. Winning is not enough for them, They must Own... Try this: get some i.p blocking softwares/ i.p virtualisation & try to play quake!? You may find this difficalt to connect to ql but you can guaranteed the cheats/ hackers will have multiple steam/ ql accounts & play the game under different region crededtials all the time... The point im making here, is of their mindset, their obsesion.

only thing I joined a server yesterday actually and the same guy had won 3 maps in a row by a huge margin and i pinged 160 -200 for som reason, then he left and my ping went back to normal about 50 stuff like that ? As for teamwork in FFA if I have a 50/50 choice, I pick the non RS player to frag 1st thats ok yeh hehe

Its all true. Also its true that most ppl cant or dont want to comprehend the extents of the bad things ppl do! Muckyman, some sort of quake specialist or something, big name, big personality, somewhat gross at times, is also particularily lacking in knowledge about quake tweaks & cheats, Huh!, Ive never imagined him a vulnerable sort..
Oh well, thats it, everyting I say is now dismissed & made worthless bs. I'm just a foolish old fragga, I will get my coat.... errrr, noooooooooottttttttttt :)

Yes, its entirely possible malware/ rootkit/ virus/ bios hacking & so on, could be causing connection issues & that problems with intermittent broken connection (when in game) could be linked to that, yet I still find it suspicious how on several occasions, after ending the game, I will receive a bunch of single port scans (single port scans a rarely received). Changing of my mac address & dns, fixes this for a time. It appears that when my connection hangs in quakelive, the problems arise. I am also suspecting that chatting in quake could be a trigger, this involves typing on pc, indicates possible key hacking of my pc. I'm deducing there may well be problems with my pc & possible targeted hacking but also the quakelive game is possibly also targeted (a known destination of mine), & the connection being intercepted. Key hacking via ql chat, made possible by previously setup key hacking of my pc!
Is Quaklive Chat safe ? I,m no expert, but this sounds like classic hacker stuff, similar to image hacking (images/ pictures files are malware that make pc vulnerable to illegal connection)...
Well, don't expect me to be chatting in game anymore, that's going off completely.
