completely crushed by players on a mouse and keyboard..
Good luck!
There are other options for deadzone and stuff that you can see if you press TAB after typing in_joy.
Then just bind stuff to the buttons in the settings menu.
It plays pretty good with a controller actually. I can beat new players in duel with a controller.
If you stay away from lg and just rocket spam corners and hold angles with rail you don't need that fast aiming.
Low deadzone and super high sensitivity is what works best I think.
You will never be a good player if you play with a controller though.
Yes because you have to assign every needed action to a button before you can play.
Go into the settings menu and do that.
Press escape > Settings > Input

There's nothing in the settings menu that relates to controllers.
Just rebind all the binds you need in the input settings to buttons on your controller.
Click on a field with your mouse and press the button on your controller that you want to use for that action.
You don't have to bind basic movement like forward, backward, strafe left, strafe right or look but you have to bind jump, attack, zoom, and every weapon that you want to use.
A tip is to use the shoulder buttons for shooting instead of the triggers since the triggers are alot slower to press down.
