Lag in Quake 3 isn't harmfull to the game play untill 110ms and above and even good players can deal with that
there is team size, but u dont see if the teams are filled, or who is playing in which team.
there is round limit, but u have no idea what is the actual score in the game.
there is time limit but u dont know where is the game in progress.
As i wrote, there are some information given, but most of them are basically useless, u have to connect to the server and check for yourself whats going on.
And also the presentation should be a lot better, its 2016 and u can only see some basic text information, and even those text informations are irrelevant.
Also about ping - I had ~2100 elo on qlranks CA, now having 2500 or so in this new system, and i can feel that above 70 ping Lightninggun especially are so much delayed, i hit 10-15% less with the weapon. Of course good players can adapt to high ping, they chage their playstyle, but it doesnt change the fact that the netcode must be terrible written.
