I think the reason people don't assume a lot of people are cheating is they are used to it, so used to it that they don't notice the stuble difference. I've been playing this game since it's inception in 99 and thing were different. Alot.
The things to note are that cheaters don't use 100% accuracy. The multihacks/aimbots these days are intelligent enough to make you look normal, so you don't get caught. This is important because a caught cheat is a useless one.
You have to be a bit naive to think that a hack/cheater/aimbot is just someone staring at walls and hitting 100% rail, they aren't.
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
[irony} Queue 50+ people telling me I'm wrong and clueless [/irony}
Quake 3 was a different game with different netcode.
Of course cheaters use humanized aimbots to hide their cheats.
I don't see anything suspicious in that Strenx video though. I'd gladly listen to what's so suspicious about it.
There are cheaters, but most of the accusations are just bad players calling out better ones because they can't understand how people can be that much better than themselves. How do I know this? Because I've been called a cheater a thousand times and even kicked from servers because people think I cheated, and there are tons of people waaay better than me.
I think it has more to do with the fact that any semidecent player has been accused of cheating countless times so it gets harder to trust people when they say another person cheats.
its the same person.

you do know strenx is LAN proven right?
and that in his prime he was one of the best aerowalk players alive?
and that everybody considers those videos a joke? (http://www.esreality.com/post/2286140/strenx-france-hack-zotac/)
like come on man.
Even the lowest power stream can eliminate Wallhack as for aim assist thats a dif story even thats possable on lans!
Maybe a thread should be started not naming people but what to look for!
The only thing we can count on now is the server admins because VAC obv doesnt work!
If this is your criteria for cheating, you need to keep practicing. Looking in obvious places on aerowalk is far from cheating. Clearly, there are several times where he's nowhere near where the player is. Aside from that, calling one of the best LAN proven Quake dulers in the world a cheater is about as nooby as it gets.
Djordje "ZeRoQL" Simonovic caught cheating.

2:45 he tracks through wall, and fires at top of stairs without ever having seen the player.
There are many, but I have been very stringent on what counts, I fails to believe that sound can give you the knowledge of a players movements like ecolocation. Especially on Quake with it's crap stereo sound.
The thing from 1:29 to 1:35:
At 1:27 you can hear where he spawns so he knows he is there. From that spawn there's only three ways to go, to lg/ra, down the jumppad or across the upper ledge. Strenx first goes through the tele to hit him if he goes to the ledge, he is not showing up. Strenx starts moving up the stairs to see if he goes for LG or the hp bubbles there but then he hears him go to the ledge so he goes back and shoots him in the head. Nothing extraordinary..
At 2:45:
He is not tracking through the wall at all. He rails him at 2:41 and Pavel goes back towards lg/ra. It would not make sense for Pavel to jump down in the jumppad hole since he would easily get killed there(because Strenx is still at rail-tele area). Strenx decides to do an aggressive move and quickly goes up the stairs. Hopefully Pavel goes for LG/hp bubbles which would mean certain death, if he stays at the upper level Strenx might get a rail on him and if he double backs out on the ledge he will be able to escape. He goes for LG/bubbles. At 2:43 you can hear Pavel jump so Strenx knows he will be in the air and easily hittable. He prepares the shot by aiming into the wall(coming out at the right angle) and hits a pretty easy rail. Nothing extraordinary...
The only reason you are suspicious to this particular game is because some dude 4 years ago uploaded this demo with wolfcams wallhack effect on. ANY game between top players or even just good players on Aerowalk would have moments as these.
