What happened to QuakeNet on mIRC? It has always been TEH chat for Quakers.
I'm still in my clan's #channel, and a few other oldschool clans still have their Q, however hardly any regulars there.
Nothing beats mIRC for convenience, customisation, and variety

but y sponge :( i already had one setup prior to May just hadnt posted it cause no one at all was showing intrest since the in game VC now ill have to go back in it and take out all the forum ♥♥♥♥ for quake and make it a clan only discord :(

btw spong can you pleas add a pinned post in discussion for people haveing bugs etc so they will quit posting the same stupid crap over and over and just read previous posts that already have fixes

Still can not run a listen server?
I do not seem to be able to run a listen server on my quake account VIA steam. I made my IP static,and changed the ports from 27960 to the steam port 27015,
still nothing works. I did UDP ...and both UDP/TPC...
I was wondering if anyone here can help me.
Actually I ran servers before, never had much of an issue..but this does not seem to be working. It could be my router I am using a Hitron technologies CGM-2250 router.
I done a few walk throughs but none bore fruit.
Can any one here help me out..thanks :)

Quake 27015~27015 I also had the above 27960 in the correct fields...

27015~27015 UDP -> My static IP...

To cheekily jump in on the only pinned post, do come join the players on Discord to chat as well, but if you're having problems running Quake Live or issues in game, first try checking out my troubleshooting FAQ as most issues can be solved from there :)
