The problem was that we hadn't really practiced it and my team mates were not disciplined enough to just stand their ground in the Red Armor room. After some time they tried to get a peek rail to bait the other team into coming(which is stupid because that eliminates the advantage of camping the RA room when you put yourself in a rail fight at tower where the enemy team has an advantage) but got shot instead, and then we had to attack to win.
It would have been interesting because there isn't really anything that says you have to fight in the tower room. If you camp at RA and the other team camp at Tower it would be a game of who is the most patient and if you already talked it through with your team about the plan, most likely the other team would get bored and eventually come. Or they would start going RA at the start of the round which would make the results far less certain if they aren't used to fighting there.
If no one moves, the round would just end in a draw I guess. And that would continue until one team gives up. There isn't any rule against it either. That's the flaw with CA, it's kind of based on some honor rules. Like not camping in other rooms on Overkill or the game will be "ruined" for everyone.
I wanted to try it just to mess with the honor rules and make the other much better team angry. But sadly it never got realized because of my impatient team. :p
Thank you for your point of view! I knew this should work, but CA people only play by habits. A new tactic or a new map completely disturbs them, thatswhy they only play the same 3-4 map all the time in the same style. Such a shame, because CA could be much more interresting.
