how do you get more than 200 fps

i have a 240hz monitor and i thought id try out this game but i cant make my fps go to 250 like i used to

no idea, I used this and get 250 fine, but I launched the game and I put the command in the console while in the menu, then joined a server, maybe you can try that

also disable v-sync if on. in the esc menu options turn off post processing and use vertex lighting.

* you may need to up the brightness after these changes.

Just be aware it causes full cpu load while the game is open. So you might want to close it if leaving it there for a few hours etc..

i limit fps with rivatuner if stuff like that happens
