Since Quake Champions FOV uses a Horizontal 16:9 Base and Quake Live a 4:3 Base, I asked a simple question if I use FOV 120 in Quake Champions what to set in QLive. I believe it is 90, but wasnt 100% sure.

I had bad experience with you community already as soon as the game went to steam (the webbrowser version was at least a lot friendlier)

So after I got kickvoted from a server some year ago, because of being the worst player of the Clan Arena Team I was in - (which can happen - a human has good days of aim & skill and not so good days - In this case I just wasnt fully warmed up yet) Reason enough for you folks to ban me from the server. The difference in score wasnt that huge either between my lovely teammates.
After this experience I gave up on this game forever.

But I missed Clan Arena in QC and gave the game another Chance.
First 2 matches were fine. And then this stupidity again.

Getting kicked for the fov question. Apparently you guys are already triggered about the Quake Champions word?

That even the kickvote did PASS is even more sad.

as for fov, just try a couple values and go with what feels best.. start with fov 97, then try 100, 104, 108

go to chill servers, ffa to get better. OSO and madhouse to practice CA, or smaller 4v4 CA no elo reqs when u see em open. people that stroke there elo are not even the best of the best, i have friends that sit in ffa and occasionaly do CA that are better than the 1800elo ca circlejerkers

From what I have learned from asking pros on their stream, most agree its 15 fov different

for example, I had 107 fov qc, so surprisingly 92 in ql So to finally answer your question, it would be 105 in quakelive to try to match qc fov difference.

There are FOV conversion web pages out there. Can't link one currently but just google.

IDK man I'm still tier 3 at best but I still usually have a blast playing on most the servers even just chillin in spectate and listening to chat.
