[Beginner] What is that Glicko / Elo nonsense? I just want to play...
Hi all,

I get kicked from servers because of my Glicko or Elo. So I don't know to to get this thing in the first place unfortunately. Can anybody briefly explain to me what this is?

I want to join a server with PQL because I came from CPMA and this server wants me to have a minimum of 1463 Elo. Where can I even see what my Elo is?

https://qlstats.net/server/3857

Under https://qlstats.net/player/<myID> I can't find information about those variables.

I would appreciate if anyone could help me out.

Thank you!

Glicko is a number which represents your average skill. this is essential for matchmaking / team balance, in any team based gametype.
Most servers have glicko low and/or high limits, to avoid huge skill gaps.

The server you linked to has a low limit of 901, as stated in the server name.

There's a glicko and b-glicko. the b-glicko is used for altered gametypes. For example if a server has a roundlimit8 instead of 10, it will be b-rated.

Your qlstats.net profile page shows every information you need. What especially are you missing there?

I wish we could have a CA server where people just wanna have fun without constantly trying to balance/change teams. One with no match start or points counts or ending.
I miss the old LvS server on Q3 :(
