how to set always voice chat on, in quake live

pres "v" in game is not useful, how can i set the mic always open in ql?

There is a setting in steam (voice) to automatically trasmit when you speak instead of pushing a button.

Not sure if it will work for QL though.

It doesn't work for QL, sorry. It's one of the big reasons everyone uses Discord or Teamspeak for any team games in QL.
