Bloated Full Screen on Windows 10.
When I launch the game i can only see half of the game screen. Its like its blown up on one side and i can't even navigate the settings menu.

The game was running fine until today when this started happening.

This happens for me too. I turned down the resolution and I could get full screen on a lower resolution.

what do you mean turn down. My monitor's native resoltuion is 1600 X 900. Even when the resolution is lowered to 1280X720 its the same issue.

Running on a GTX 960. And never had any such issues with Quake Live until yesterday. I am sure i didn't fiddle with the settings, it just hapened. I reinstalled the game but to no avail.

Never happened to me, have you tried different r_mode in config? http://www.regurge.at/ql/

i fixed it by right clicking and going into properties of ql.exe in steam folder and unchecking one of the options.

I just ran into this issue and fixed it. Since you're good, this is for anyone else who runs into the issue. I've had to do this with a number of older games to get them working.

Right click the Quake Live.exe>Properties>Compatibility

Check the box next to "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and make sure "application" is selected in the dropbox.

The problem varies a little, the solutions are under "Can't select menu items or mouse/menu too large" in the guide above.

Could you be mire specific? What option did you uncheck? And in the steam folder there is no ql.exe, there is a quakelive_steam.exe but no ql.exe so let me ask again, what did you uncheck.
