[SPOILERS] What was the meaning of "Delenda Est"?
I'm still trying to figure this out. One of the crew members at Omicron was finishing each audio log on her device with that phrase. (The woman was located in the dining room on the third level at Omircon.) I looked it up and its standalone meaning is "must be destroyed" or "must destroy" but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me in the game. Did she mean the WAU?

On a side note the original phrase is "Carthago delenda est" in Latin, which means "Carthage must be destroyed" in English. It's curious because Carthage was the company providing the tech of PATHOS-II and more specifically guess what? The WAU. Also they'd issued an order to not touch the WAU or something like that, not turn it off, and they'd given green light to the experiments done there. (One of the crew at Theta was an insider of sorts, a spy for Carthage.)

That some pretty good detective work there didnt even notice she said that phrase. But id say theres a very good chance shes talking about the WAU
The woman is Julia Dahl, one of the three persons working on the WAU implementation for Carthage (with Marq Sarang and Johan Ross). "Delenda est" indeed stand for "delenda est Carthago" which may be a reference to the punic wars, but also to "Delenda est" a short story by the SF author Poul Anderson (where it is question of time traveling and its consequences). :)
