We’re celebrating the upcoming expansion with some long-requested features - NOW LIVE!

Relax Endless Mode - A more chill, sandbox-friendly mode without modifiers or boss intervals (with reduced rewards).

Nightmare Difficulty - Fully customizable challenge beyond Insane, for those who want to test their limits.

Each class now gets a brand-new weapon and skill to master:

Berserker class - Dwarven Axes
Seeress class - Staff of Wonders
Revenant class - Cursed Bow
Flame Sister class - Shade Dagger
Warden class - Clan Hammer
Kinslayer class - Heroic Halberd

What to expect very soon (December 4th) is the big upcoming FREE CONTENT UPDATE:

Discover Alfheim, the once-glorious realm of the Light Elves - now tragically infested and corrupted by endless tides of arachnids. This new battlefield demands entirely fresh strategies, as ancient Elven magic fades and once-beautiful sanctuaries fall into shadow.

In Alfheim, you’ll face:

• New Modifiers and Objectives - Dynamic challenges tied to the spreading spider plague.

• The Spider Jotunn (New Boss) - A colossal matriarch commanding her brood, unleashing devastating webs and poisonous shockwaves across the battlefield.

The goddess of nature herself, Nerthus, joins as a new playable god. Channel her primal might to summon storms, earthquakes, and beasts to fight against Hel’s corruption across the Nine Realms.

Once an Elven magister of Alfheim, the Archmage now turns his arcane mastery against the invaders.

This new class starts with the following unique traits:

• Magic Orbs - Rotating spheres that continuously wound nearby enemies.

• Power of Knowledge - A passive 15% chance for Double Cast.

• Teleport - A blink-style dash that avoids damage but comes with a higher cooldown.

Specializations:

• Pyromancer - Inflict Burn and enhance teleportation range.

• Stormbringer - Chain Lightning from orbs and Shock effects on all skills.

• Venomancer - Explosive attacks that spread deadly Poison.

• Cryomancer - Defensive powerhouse; standing still forms an Icy Shield, and skills Freeze enemies.

It’s been a while since the Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel cross-platform 1.0 launch - but we’ve been far from quiet behind the scenes. The team has been working hard to polish performance, tweak balance, and prepare something we know you’ve been waiting for...

In this dev blog, we’re giving you a sneak peek into what’s next - including new difficulties, fresh weapons for every class, and a hint at a much bigger update lurking around the corner.

Grab your axes, bows, and spells - it’s time to head back into the Hordes of Hel.

One of the most common requests we’ve seen from the community is to make the endless mode more flexible - something that fits both laid-back adventurers and pure chaos-seekers.

So we’re introducing two new difficulty modes to suit both sides of the spectrum:

Relaxed endless mode

A more chill and sandbox-style take on endless mode.
Enemies scale more slowly, torments and boss intervals are removed, and you can take your time experimenting with builds and strategies.

Just note - you’ll earn fewer resources as a trade-off for the slower pace.

Nightmare mode

Think you’ve mastered Insane? Think again.
Nightmare Mode lets you customize your own difficulty, pushing the limits of what’s possible.

Crank it up as much as you dare - and see how long you can survive the madness.

NEW WEAPONS FOR EVERY CLASS

Every class is getting stronger - and deadlier.
In this update, each hero receives their sixth weapon, unlocking new ways to wreak havoc across Hel.

Berserker - Dwarven axes

Blade barrier: A swirling wall of blades that deals constant damage and grants +40 Health.

Seeress - Staff of wonders

Dark slime: Launches slime bombs that explode into corrosive pools. Also grants a 10% chance for bonus skill or reward choices.

Revenant - Cursed bow

Cursed caltrops: A volley of spiked traps that curse enemies on contact and provide 5% damage reduction.

Flame Sister - Shade dagger

Fires three waves of impaling daggers and increases Class Skill damage by 14%.

Warden - Clan hammer

Call of the ancestors: Summons charging dwarves to aid you in battle. The hammer also boosts XP gain by 13%.

Kinslayer - Heroic halberd

Unleashes a feral shout that boosts both offense and defense, while restoring +1.5 Health per second. Warcry. 

Once Update no. 1 land, we won’t be slowing down.
A major content update is already on the horizon - with a new map, new hero, new god, and new boss coming soon.
