Valter's care package deal?

Some guy named Valter came to my doorstep offering some free supplies if I went and help him with the humanitarian aid drop. Should I go or is it a trap?

Yeah, I've witnessed 7-8 events which require one of your survivors to leave, and I've never seen anything bad come from them. Usually, it gives warm fuzzies to a few of your survivors, and it sometimes nets you an item or two.

Nope. When I first played this game, I was so sceptical that I didn't open the door to anyone. I also thought that a sniper would shoot me from somewhere every time I went scavenging. Sadly, this game isn't quite Dark Souls level which I expected it to be :(

There can be a follow-up event. A band of rebels coming to your place and asking about the guy who scavenged the aid supplies. In exchange for reward you can tell them who did it, but it's a major morale hit.

Yeah, but nothing serious and that's the only negative event that can ever happen

OP, (if/after) you help that guy there might be a 2nd visit by some authorities saying they noticed one of their drops was unaccounted for and reports of your neighbor being in its general location when it landed. They offer you some luxury/food rewards for ratting him out, but Im no narc, and the rewards I got from that trip beat the reward they offered so I told them to jog on

Lot of people saying these are always safe, but the very first time I went, Pavle got shot and killed. Just saying, there is risk, so stay safe and don't send anyone who isn't in good condition.

As others said, it's always beneficial to help the guy. No moral modifications, but it yields good supplies, unlike Voyt's first visit. There's a followup where one can snitch on him to some rebel investigators, but it's just canned food and some crappy coffee and tobacco.
