Romance in this game?
I just want to know before i buy the game if there is romance between the survivors? For me it would ad a lot of immersion, because in war people long for warmth and love even more than in peace times. So is it in the game?

In war you dont have time or strenght for "romance" in common or gaming view of that word. Surely emotional bonds are forming between ppl, but I wouldnt call it a romance. Try to work double and triple shifts on some physically demanding work for a few weeks to see what I mean. So the last thing I personally would like to see in this game is some sort of Mass Effect-style romances.

I wouldnt suggest a romantic storyline, but it should be optional. Even in wars, love can be found and it can actually boost moral. (should help with the hunger/emotion level), and if one the "lovers" die, depression can add up. And perhaps even suicide? "Why bother, I'm going to die anyway, if not by starvation, by bandits, or just as casualty of the war?"... it's something worth thinking about.

if you read the bios of some of the characters they talk about how they have kids or wives that escaped the city. Pavel has a son who plays soccer and marko saved a women from a fire that he would later marry and have a son with.

Yeah well thats really sad. I think gampeplaywise i would have been really interesting. Like Lawie suggested. Romance could have some kind of moral boost or negative drawback if the lover dies.

Otherwise I think mass effect romance is not the only wayto present a romance. Here in this game the perspektive would have been really different, since you dont have a fixed char but the whole team is your hero. So i think it would have been possible to add some kindof romance.

Well of course my dear Pavel would be totally faithful to his wife (and not engage into romance), and Bruno to his girlfriend. But the 70 Year old Anton? Well this old men are the worst when it comes to love and still like to take the girls into their beds.... despite theirage, so Anton would be perfectly fitto go out with katia and arica. ;)

Such way of thinking is exactly why any sort of "romance" should be kept out of this game.

Maybe an option should be included to f.uck their depression away.

30-40 days without shower, flea ridden, scraping for survival in antisanitary conditions where even minor cut may cause infection and kill, do you really think that would be a good way to fight depression, risking urinal infection and god knows what dieseases for 5 minutes of something which can hardly be called a pleasure in a given circumstances? Not to mention that there are completely different emotional bonds involved than a simple gender attraction to each other.
I think somebody watched Enemy at the Gates too much.... please grow up...

would be hilarious if some of the survivors started betraying eachother over some piece of a$$ lol

I was a joke; however, I admit that I thought about that movie when typed that (despite having not see it in years).
However, things like that happen. Even things like civlians selling their own bodies to survive in devastate war zones is common. Probably the designer wanted to keep it from being TOO bleak, by, say, not allowing your female characters to ♥♥♥♥ some soldier in exchange for a can of food. That happens, in the past, in the present, and in the future, in every single war. Despite the "unsanitary conditions"; besides, pretending that people will act rationally (say, not having sex because it may lead to medical conditions) in that situation is absurd.
In fact, I admit I like the absurdity of this game, is very realistic. For example, you can have one character axe to death an elderly couple and robe them blind, the come to "base" and fell to the ground, a sobbing wreck. And if you can't get rid of that "broken" trait, it may lead to not being able to scavenge, or to guard properly, or work properly, when rationally, it's exactly what you should be doing - and, in turn, may lead to your own death and the death of your team (in one of my first playtroughts I had only one survivor, "broken". It was winter, and I couldn't make him move to add fuel to the heater. He froze to death the next day).
