one day rollback
i don't know if this feature was designed by developers, but i have found a way to turn back for one day (exploit in save files)
if you go in folder with save files, you will explore following files:

savedgames (no extention)
savedgames.alt

if you have table view, you can notice that this file different time/date of creation.
for example:

https://api.monosnap.com/rpc/file/download?id=T2tKwL6mhjS2qeYHGzrPUdGjU0aseQ
sorry for link (i'm noob in text formatind and don't know how to insert the picture)

The story is very simple: game creates and replace one of this file every time new days starts. Which means that other file stores save for previous day.

If you screwed up or forgot to do something, just:
1) go in this folder:
Steam\userdata\YOURPROFILEIIDNUMBER\282070\remote
2) delete file with newest time/date
3) copy file with oldest date, and change its name and extention.

for example, on picture i have deleted "savedgames", copied "savedgames.alt" and deleted an extention ".alt"

Of course, other way is back up thos files each day, well - its up to you

NOTICE: New file creates EACH time day is loaded, which means you an loose previous day file by going to the menu and starting game again, in this case, you will have files both for one day

if you will not make a copy and change extention (delete or put it), steam synchronization system will ruine this action because it will upload missing file with latest date and GAME ALWAYS LOADS THE FILE WITH LATEST DATE independientemente if it has extention .alt or not

I hope it was understandable and helpfull

It doesn't work if you let the next day comes(the loading screen). The game actually creates an alternative version of the save, as a copy of the same day's save. In other words, you can't go back one day, beacuse there are two save files of the same day, and not two different ones. In your case it would have worked to close the game and reopen it, the same way

Can you perhaps tell me what I did wrong? On my computer I found Gateway (C:), Program Files (x86), Steam, userdata, 15477795 (my profile file ID number), 282070, and remote. I found both savedgames and savedgames.alt. I deleted savedgames and copied savedgames.alt. Then I pasted my copied savedgames.alt and renamed it copiedsavedgames.exe. After that I deleted savedgames.alt. When I played the game it took longer than usual to load and still returned to the same day. It did not go back to the previous day. I can't figure out what I did wrong. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

What I did to solve that, was to delete all the "alt" files and copied and pasted the "no extention files". I renamed the pasted files placing ".alt" at the end of each one, and it worked.
or simply. if u done goofed and died on the night. immediately alt-f4 or close the program before the next day. then it wont save and ull start back the day at the night u died

this is much easier than copying and pasting two files over and over, as long as you don't let the loading finish into the next day, you can restart that day
