Eating bug

Since the last update my people refuse to eat cooked food.
They just start the animation, but the progress circle doesn't change and the animation just continues endlessly. This also can break the game when you try to have one of your characters give food to another. They just stand around and do nothing and you can't give orders to either.
Canned food works fine, I tried, but cooked food doesn't.. HELP!

Only thing I can say is ''Vertify your game chace'' and or make a new play through.. Or stop eating cook food.

Only thing I can say is ''Vertify your game chace'' and or make a new play through.. Or stop eating cook food.

Tried new playthrough, that's not it. Will try the other.

hm, started the game with console enabled and now I don't have the bug anymore... let's hope it stays that way though... if I encounter it again, I will post the report...

bump as it just happened to me last night as well.
i simply exited the game on steam and restarted and it seemed to fix it.

Happened to me now, day 41 and all of a sudden it just stopped. Just mid game.
Reboot of game solved it.

2018 and the bug is still there, reboot did not work but the refund will. Disappointed that the def's wont fix there ♥♥♥♥

2019 just had this bug, to fix it I exited game to verify integrity of game files, and when I reloaded it was fixed.

Prior to that, I tried leaving game and hitting try again in the main menu. This soft reset did NOT clear the bug. You have to completely restart the game.

its a really rare bug, happened to me when I was doing a 80 day run. You have to restart the scenario for it to be fixed

Just had this bug too; will try the reboot.

Rebooting worked, just have to replay the day's progress-which sucks but better than starting over.
