IMPORTANT: game crashing

Hello everybody.

We are working on the crash issues you've reported in several topics. However, some of them are really unusual and hard to reproduce. And that's where you can help us out, guys. If you are encountering crashes on Windows, then it'd be very helpful to take a closer look at your specific problem. If you are willing to help, then you can use the procdump utility to send detailed info on your crash straight to us. Here's how it goes:

1. Download procdump (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/dd996900.aspx)
2. Open procdump in cmd:

procdump -w -e -ma -w -accepteula "This War of Mine.exe"

3. Start This War of Mine
4. Reproduce the crash
5. It the minidump was successfully generated, upload it somewhere (eg. https://www.sendspace.com ), and send a link to [e-mail], describing the situation which caused the crash

Any crash info could be useful, so don't hesitate! ;)

If anyone's game crashes while looting randomly then try this:

Right click on the game inside steam and go to properties>set launch options.
In the new window type "-console" without the quoation marks of course and see if that fixes it.

It worked for me and the game hasn't crashed since. Hope it helps others.

Writing -console didn't change anything. It's still crashing.

Why my dump file almost hit 1GB?

I have a mac and mine keeps crashing when I go to the ruined block of flats or to the airport. Hope its resolved soon! :(

Please fix the location bug since the DLC update!! It made playing classic mode nearly impossible.

I have a problem where the game worked fine until yesterday, I purchased the DLC pack and Season pass yesterday and then tried to run the game. It just says "this war of mine has stopped working.exe" and then closes the program. My pc is an i5 with 8GB ram win 10 and a nice AMD graphics card. I have tried uninstalling the game, re installing it. I have tried numerous other fixes on the community and no luck. I downloaded the game on my little Celeron laptop and it works fine there. Just a bit slow as expected. Can you perhaps advise how to fix this as all my other steam games work fine. I have also done the steam file test to ensure that the integrity of the files are fine and no errors there.
