Softlock with restarting the day before when character dies

Hey all,

I got softlocked from dying while scavenging. I alt f4'd the game thinking it will reset the day before, letting me redo the day, but now it will start day 16, ask to restart from the day before, then restart day 16. is there a way to fix or do i suck it up and restart the run?
