Fading Embers: Tito's Desk, Unreadable dialogue and other stuff
Couple of bugs I've found

1. Upon helping Tito with his fuel problem he mentioned a desk, but I've already looted everything that cannot be stolen in the house and thought they forgot to include a desk. On my subsequent visit to donate food for him however, I brought a hatchet with the intention to steal unused funiture in order to make my trip worthwhile. In doing so I chopped down the desk, spilling the loot inside by accident.

2. Certain cutscenes block out dialogue happening at the same time, notably one where Adam thanks you for clearing the rubble while a kid runs down to tell Andreas the news, the latter of which cannot be fully read due to cutscene zoom. There are also a few examples of start of day cutscenes in the museum. I don't know if it's possible to read the dialogue by skipping the text, but it's still bad pacing regardless not to be able to witness all the story elements at once.

3. I apparently have 2 Metal workshops in the museum. Can't tell if there was one there before I built mine, but I couldn't find the second workshop in any case. I'll update this observation if I do a second run.

4. During my first visit to the Samuel Institute I stashed most of the level's loot into a container at the lower right of the room with the v-shaped stairs. It also contained 2 of possible museum collections which I left behind to make space for the essentials I needed to set up my shelter. I came back for it many days later to retrieve them and couldn't find them at all. I first imagined it could be scripted to be stolen if you didn't grab them the first run but viewing the other factors it does not seem to be the case.

For instance, the neighborhood view shows it to be 65% looted, which means the game still considers the loot to still exist on the map, but there's literally no lootable containers left. Even if there's a few containers tucked away in some obscure location I doubt it will amount to 35% of the loot in any case.
Furthermore, on closer inspection, the container appears to have been somehow replaced with a chair in its place. I restarted the day and brought a hatchet with me this time to hack up everything I could in hopes it might have been a repeat of Tito's desk incident, but nada. Only wood and fuel. At this point I'm very discouraged to continue as I felt I did very well with securing every art piece I could in my first run without savescumming up to this point, only for this two to disappear due to a bug.
Would at least like confirmation if I'm imagining things here and Samuel institute collection is meant to disappear on subsequent visits, or if this is a legit bug, just for closure's sake. I might update this if I do a second run, again.

Hey Necromorphic!

1. When he mentions "the desk" after you give him the fuel, he's referring to his vinyl records in his bedroom.
The desk that you chopped up doesn't 'activate' until you give him one meat, but you also have to let him mention the stuff in the desk as well, so you need to hang around him for a little bit, and maybe go outside his bedroom once or twice after giving him the meat.

2. True, but I'm also wondering if screen resolution might be a factor.

3. I have no idea, but after a while it gets annoying when you don't have one and Anja keeps says, "Maybe we should chop some wood?" Um, is there a hatchet around I'm unsure about, Anja? Mind pointing it out to me?

4. (First part) That might also be because that piece of furniture was chopped up. I'm not sure, but I've suffered a similar fate when doing that, but I lost everything. Plus one go through I went there and there wasn't anything stored in that location at all, every other time there'd been stuff there.

4 (Second Part) It's hard for me to argue that that is a bug, but I've learned not to trust that location, that's for certain.

4 (Third Part) Umm, here's a thought, I made it to the museum, and part of it got bombed, Rufus grabs part of the collection and takes it down to the storage room. I have Anya work on a different collection so Rufus has to grab the part that he couldn't get the first time. But by then the "Room is to dangerous to move this".

Now get this, a few days later I'm looking through the collection and the one thing that Rufus was unable to "move" was in the storage room, safe and sound. :steamfacepalm: So you might want to check your collection and see if the items at The Samuel Institute are in the collection at Anja's home or the Museum. Otherwise? I got Nothin'!

1. I did wonder about his collection piece in his bedroom, however I don't recall being given an option to grab it even after doing his fuel request. the loot filled desk on the other hand, I did bring an hatchet along when night I brought him food, so perhaps I overlooked both of these points one way or another.

2. That's kind of odd, since I play on 1920x1080, which is a very common resolution to have.

4. I've yet to do a new playthrough, but I have developed a hunch since then that I may have stashed my loot in a corpse, mistaking it for furniture in the backdrop. But yes, it's deemed "missing" in my collection.

Appreciate you sharing your insight on these issues! I guess I should keep some of these in mind when I decide to do completionist runs.

1. That's odd.
I've clicked on the collection piece before I clicked on the "speak" icon with Tito, and it doesn't show a 'Take", but after I give him the fuel, that option does exist.
