Game crashes when I tab out/minimize (can'r reopen it).
Hi, does anyone else have the issue that they can't reopen the game after they tabbed out? I started it, played normally, everything was fine, then i tabbed out shorty and when i wanted to go back into the game, I couldn't. Task Manager said the process is not responding. Waited a few minutes to see if it just takes a while, but nothing happened. Thats kinda annoying, does anyone know how to fix that?

Same problems here. I have already posted in the tech subforum. My drivers are updated. It is really gamebreaking since I often have to switch apps in order to read important job related messages.

Might it be a dual screen issue?

Same problems here.

When playing i switch to overlay, then minimize. Game stops responding and can't be pulled back on my screen.

GTX780, latest drivers and two monitors.

Same issue here, in Arch linux, with latest nvidia drivers.
When I alt+tab out of the game and try to get back in, the game is frozen/locked up

Hello guys!
What I can say for sure is that the problem doesn't lie in dual monitors, since I've played literally over 1000 hours on two or even three monitors, using Alt+Tab all the time. The problem must lie in some specific situations/configurations. Unfortunately, we're unable to reproduce this problem in our studio, but we do know it's a big one and we'd really like to fix it. I'd like to ask You if:
a) The game crash after each Alt+Tab? Or in some specific situations (for example: 1 hour of playing and the 3rd Alt+Tab)
b) If any of You guys could send us log. Here You can check how to do it:(http://steamcommunity.com/app/282070/discussions/0/617320628066642121/)
Thanks for all your support and patience. I'm so sorry that You've met such inconveniences. We'll do our best to try to fix it in one of the future updates.

Has this ever been addressed? I just got the game and am having this very annoying (and frankly game crippling problem, as I need to TAB OUT on a regular basis). Here is what I can add to the info:

1) I am running Windows 7, 64-bit. 64gigs of RAM, GTX 660 ti,
2) Tri-monitors, but ONLY dual 1280x1024 Smansung Syncmasters hen playing
3) TABBING OUT (ALT-TAB) at *ANY TIME* (could have just loaded the game and main screen is there) causes the issue. Doesn't matter when.
4) Game stays minimized and won't restore. When you have selected the game again (either by taskbar or other methods) the screen stays the same, but you can NOT click on anything in Windows at all ... as if the game is there and running. But TM shows it as "Not responding"

I hope that helps. Please try to fix this ASAP, as it makes the game virtually unplayable for me 90% of the time. Thanks!
Do you think the program "Borderless Gaming" can help resolve this issue? I don't have the program, but here's a description:

“Games are best when played full screen, but many won't play nice with Alt+Tab in full screen mode—which means you can't look at your browser for a guide or change the music playing in the background. Borderless Gaming fixes that problem.”

It's available on Steam, but I also read somewhere that you can get it for free directly from the developer's website.

Same problem here on Debian. ALT+TAB crashes the game (it just hangs). Both on fullscreen and with window mode. This is really annoying. Other games don't have this problem.

Same problem here, I'm playing on win 7 32 bits and alt tabbing makes the game go unresponsive and I can't get back to it again.
Also, on windowed mode, if you try to maximize the screen it'll always go back to "75% resolution". Putting it back to 100% after maximizing fixes it, however if you alt tab it'll reset to 75% again. (By the way, alt tabbing on windowed is not crashing the game.)

This is just as annoying as alt tabbing when in full screen, because you need to go to the settings every time you alt tab in windowed mode.

Maybe the problems occur because of some "redimensioning code"?

Edit: after putting the game on windowed mode and experiencing the problem above, I put it back on fullscreen and.... alt tabbing is working, for some reason.
Also, The 47, alt tabbing crashes the game even if you are on the main screen.

Hi, tested Edge sugestion, it work, setting it to fullscreen : no, aply, then fullscreen:yes aply, seems to help prevent alt+tab game to hang/lock

This doesn't work here. Maybe this (crappy) workaround works on Windows, but not on Linux? Anyway, the initial bug needs to be fixed. It can't be that hard to solve.
