Sometimes it's fun to play with the toys the dev gave you.
Sometimes it's fun to enjoy the challenge of a game.
All are valid, what's the problem?
This is the person with narrow minded. Only one way to live the life. I don't think people have right to devaluate how other people should play. We are here to play and not judging other. What? are you Judge Judy or something ? I think it is so stupid when people saying " cheater~ cheater". LOL!!!! seriously " it is NONE of your business." if you are not going to be a part of it then just walk away.
I guess you never comitted any bad things in your life.
The only reason video games exist is for entertainment
The baseless "it's not REAL fun unless it's the way I have fun" trope has gotten really old
People who cheat in single player games cheat because it makes the game more fun. They don't sweat and mope around miserably wishing the game was more challenging, they have way more fun cheating and sandboxing
Once I get the game, I'll probably play regularly for a long while until I am so good at the game that it is no longer challenging, then I'll do silly stuff like spawn the best weapon in the game, go godmode, and massacre everything for the fun of it. More playability :)
Sure people have the right to devaluate how others play. We all have the right to judge each other in any way we want. What we don't have the right to do though is take away someone's freedom or property, the freedom to critisize, complain, judge, create ect....
Plz Hit me up if you ever remember how to do it! :D
Sorry for the formulation, I use Google Translator.
I solved the problem with cheat enginne.
The first day when you have to collect the stuff from the shelter. Leave a closet with the stuff you need (IMPORTANT never buy all because you can not use more) .Cheat enginne find out what's needed (eg: but do not change their value, just tick the "set active" dice. If you buy or buy as much as you want (I only went to 50 / day) . If this is the case, remove the set from "set active" and set the value in the cheat engine for the object in the cabinet. If you still need this, do it again the next day. So I did not crashelt the game .
The problem is - if you cheat with the amount of items in your possession, then the game will detect it and crash whenever you try to build something.
The game detects when you perform un unholly ritual by chaning the amount of items you possess. However, it's not that smart to detect that you change the number of items in the pile/cabinet instead of your own inventory.
Here is how you do it:
1. Find a cabinet with the item you need (e.g. components)
2. Search the amount of that item in the cheat engine (e.g. 10)
3. Get one from the cabinet (now you have 1 component, cabinet has 9)
4. Search again (e.g. 9)
5. Repeat until you narrow the search down to 1 row
6. Freeze this value using "active" checkbox in the cheat engine
7. Take a reasonable amount of items from the cabinet (the cabinet becomes an infinite supply)
8. Craft whatever you need
Big thank you to the Vénólánszahlef[HUN] for the initial idea.

Also thoughts on cheating in a single player game:
1. First, why would you even care so much?
2. Second, my day to day job is hard enough to make any game look like "My little pony adventures". During the game I love the feeling of getting it easy and beating any bosses as if I had some super-natural powers. It doesn't take the entertaiment away, because I still enjoy the setting and the story. I just feed on those emotions where I can single-handedly solve all the issues. Like I am a superhero. That's what I, for example, get from games and cheating. I don't need another impossible-to-solve puzle to make my life harder.
1. Live the first day, collect as many items as you can, don't spend
2. When night comes, send a charachter to the scavenger hunt
3. In scavenge window take an item you wish to hack from inventory to your bag. Take no less than several items. (Let's say, you took 5 components). Use only items of same type, that's the crucial part to the strategy.
4. Find that value in cheat engine (New scan, first search for 5)
5. Take one item back to inventory (Next scan search for 4)
6. Repeat until you narrow it down to single search row
7. This row represents the amount of items in your bag during the scavenger hunt planning
8. Freeze the row in Cheat Engine (check the "active" checkbox for this row)
9. Take 2-8 of frozen items back to your inventory
10. Unfreeze the row
11. Put items back to the bag
12. Freeze again
13. Take as much as you want (offload from bag to inventory) but do not hurry. The game somehow detects if you obtain items to quickly. You should click with a fast pace but not ridicuously fast. Never take ALL items at once using the right click
14. If frozen items suddenly start to disappear as you put them back from the bag to inventory (the game has detected the annomaly), then unfreeze the row, add one item of the same type from inventory to bag, then freeze the row again
15. Continue untill you have as much as you want
16. Always unfreeze the row when proceeding with the scavenger hung
17. Next night the memory address of the value will change and you'll have to repeat everything again
The best thing about this is that during a single scavenger hunt planning the memory address you obtained while hacking an item of a certain type is valid for the whole duration of the night planning.
Let's say you've just hacked the components item and got yourself a ~300 components in enventory. You unfreeze the row in Cheat Engine. Then, as soon as you clear the bag and put a new item in there the row you found in the Cheat Engine will be updated with the new value of the new item type. You won't have to search again during the same night.
This sounds right.
who are you to forget that we all poop the same and believe that we are not allowed to do what we want for the sake of one person, get over yourself, youre not the game police
