alternative safe house?

i heard the rumor that there is an alternative safehouse in game, which you can play after completing the game at first time. someone can confirm it? can it be chosen in custom scenario somehow?

It can't be chosen manually, but with some chance you game can start in alternative shelter. It looks like a wooden house with a treehouse on the right side.
You just have to start the game again and again until you end up there.

Statistically, from the update containing that thing (love it ;3) it's aboot a 20% to get the known as 'TreeHouse Funtime' shelter. Aboot 80% for the weird...'Giant Hole In the wall' place. Yay

Other than emptying, and then chopping up, the desk? It doesn't look like it.

Too bad; it seems like a nice place to sit and read a book, so it would be a nice spot to put a chair. I also wanted to stick a rain collector in there for some reason.

@Toomanynights The treehouse is pretty useless outside of the two piles of stuff...also, with a hatchet you can get rid of that shelf...not much use otherwise

In fact, I totally didn't know about the other one until I looked it up. And then I finally got it on the last time I restarted.
