Run Game in Windowed Mode on Mac

How do I run the game in windowed mode on a Mac? There does not seem to be an option for it in the settings.

+1 on this, it runs full screen on the wrong monitor; "this game causes actual physical discomfort" is not, in this case, a feature.

It got an option for that in the main menu, but if you can't get into it. Try to use Steam Launch command to force the game in Window Mode on launch.

Ain't Window mode mean not Full screen? I don't know much about MAC rig.

ya, while you can actually specify launch options on mac, this game ignores the '-windowed' one; if you declare it, the game seems to launch in windowed mode, but immediately switches to fullscreen.. thx again tho, i learned something new today (mac launch options), but unfortunately it does not currently have an affect on this game

ooh ooh! problem solved!! it's less than ideal, but once the game is running, and you have yer cursor, u can go up to the menu bar and select 'exit full screen'!

ya, in full screen mode, you can go up to where there menu bar would normally be, it will appear, and you can select 'this war of mine > exit full screen'.

one would expect to find it in the in-game preferences, but this is what it is, and now it's findable for others who might encounter the same problem. yay forums!

Awesome, thanks for the info guys! It was driving me nuts trying to find out how to launch in windowed mode for Mac. Google searches only gave info for Windows OS.

This still is not working for me. When I let my mouse hover at the top of the computer, the menu bar does not show up. I feel like I've tried everything. Any other suggestions?
