Did I screw with the trap places?

So I placed one trap just next to the main door, and the other one in the door next to the one with the work station. 2 days have passed and still no mice have been caught.
Would I get better results if I had placed them in the basement?

Ahah I filled them both=) And the one next to the main door just caught it's first prey on the 3rd day!
Glad to hear that it doesn't matter. One guy here was saying that he got better results when he placed them in the basement. RNG behavior i guess then.

It's completly RNG. Same with the oven, no matter where you place it, it will heat up the same amount

I even put the heater in the same room where traps are. Only for the joke, so mice come to warm room :D

Why not put Oven in that room too? Roast them on the fly.

They get caught randomly, not overnight. Just play some more around the shelter and it'll catch something.
