Bring it back and make a guitar. You can't trade your guitar, it acts like a chair or armchair. You can send a character to start playing it and it comforts them similar to a book.

Third one is in brothel, at same basement close to entrypoint to left, behind grating. You need make a saw to get in there.

anyone know how the mechanics of playing the guitar work? Do other people have to be in the same room, can only certain people give a bonus? Has anyone noticed a bonus to mood from playing/having it? I didn't really notice anything in my playthrough other than certain characters sound like they know how to play it while others don't.

AFAIK the bonus from the guitar is passive. Thus you receive the moral boosting effects by simply owning it regardless of the team setup and whether or not it being utilized during the day.

Zlata improves her morale boosts if you've got a guitar - but I think she has to be playing it.
