max number of survivors in your group and possible house expansion?
what is the max. number of suvivors can you have in your group? Is it also possible to replace your member slots? For instances, let's say you kick out one of your survivors (or he or she is dead in line of duty) can you invite somebody else or does the game randomly generates possible replacement?

In addition, is it possible to expand your house or bunker as you get more more materials?
constructive comments are welcome! thanks

In some situations during the game you can meet some people that will need help and will ask about staying at your house. Its up to you if you will let them in or not. Another pair of hands is always useful and its good to help others but on the other hand you will need to find more food, meds etc. So its your choise who will you let in.

If you will have enough materials you can reinforce your house to make it safer and more comfortable. Its a common thing during every war.

Thanks for the prompt replies! however, my 2nd question is can you expand the house? i mean literally expansion the size of house (more rooms or more underground rooms)
Speaking of having a lot of people - Will we be able to pause the game to queue up actions on everyone? Looking at Quill's quick preview I get the feeling that more people is going to demand a lot of micromanagement, which isn't necessarily everyone's cup of tea. :)

No, it wont be possible. In my opinion it would be too much - I cant imagine why anybody during siege of the city would try to build another room in house. Its too dangerous and it needs a lot of heavy materials. Nobody thinks about such things when hes not sure if he will have something to eat tomorrow etc.
Instead of expansions - Maybe having to (or choosing to) relocate to a different house that is larger (or safer) because of raids or lack of room for everyone.

No, there wont be "active pause" - its really not necessary. You control more than one person only during the day, in your shelter. And day is long enough to let you do everything you need. You dont have to rush. This game is not about fast-clicking or your dexterity. Its about right (good or bad) decisions. The only moment in game when You have to react fast is night - during scavenging. But theres always only one scavenger during the night so once again - it doesnt need active pause.
I agree on the pause - I don't think it'd be necessary judging from the videos I've seen.
Once you learn what you are doing you won't need much time at all to issue orders. I think it's a game you will play once to learn/fail at the basics and after that it's just a matter of forward planning.

What about relocating? Will this be possible? Maybe clear out the shopping centre and move in there for example.
I would imagine once you've got more than 4 or more (you didn't actually specify if there was a limit on this) people in your house you'd start running out of space for things and it may be nicer to have a change of scenery a week or two in to the game.

If you say so - I can only lean on how the previews look. Although this begs the question - Why have an hour timer at all if there's no concept of "being rushed" to begin with? :)
@Neotinx - just my 3 cents here to your questions about how big the group can be.
It is dependant on your choices - so the bigger the group, the easier to defend and survive, but you will need more food, water.
I read in an interview with a guy (from Kosovo, I think) where he wrote they were stayed as a whole family (5 people) and they made it.

Well - day has specific "length" because there are many things that depend on flow of time. Like healing wounds, taking rest, cooking etc. But when You start any activity 10 seconds later or earlier it will not affect You much. Its more about doing things in good order, not exactly on time. Thats why i wrote that theres no rush and theres no need for active pause.
is it possible to have more than 1 scavenger during the night? or can we, at least, have an option to have a bigger backpack? =D

thank you =D i was wondering if it's possible to recruit a lot of people turn my group into bad-a$$ bandits but... i guess this game isn't about that

Due to safety reasons of civilians (based on interviews we read as well) you can send one scavenger. And, yes, like in reality you can get a bigger backpack.
On a similar note - Can you actively choose to look for other survivors? Instead of going scavenging for one night. (Or ask a passerby trader to ask if they know anyone who could need a home)
Not all people would be willing to join you. Imagine, if someone is hostile towards you, you can't do much. But yes, you can look for survivors.
