Theres a ton of things they can add
I think the best they can do is just make a new map like a second war you finish the first one and unlock the second with a new story and all that stuff and a new place and sorry if i am wrong but i think this game takes place near russia or some place near it just saying and the second could be on a desert or some place that on the real world have many wars and sorry for bad english brazilian here dont english well
1 The devs are from Polish studio, most of names are polish.
2 The architecture looks as combination of polish with... american I could say.
Just to claryfy I am Polish guy who live in UK for 3 years now and clearlly i can see similarities between how Polish streets and buildings look like, also in the hospital, the staff wears vest really similar to the ones I remember from Poland. When this game came out the 'crisis' in Ukraine was starting and lot of polish press was speculating about possible conflict in our country, and I still wonder if that's what this game is about... but It's just a personal theory, interpret it as you want (and appologies for spelling errors)
Also, if there will be a second This War of Mine game and I hope to God it will, they have a huge number of mechanics to add and lots of content. Im getting excited only when I think of how cool it could be!
The combat system is okay. There could be more options at missions like an option to intimidate or try to negotiate or other kinds of cooperation/exploitation. I dunno, whatever improve the interaction and story between NPCs and survivors.
thats a great idea budy
It takes place in a fictional east european country, going by the names and faces. Maybe in the second game they could do something in the middle east - that'd be interesting.
