Huge Update 1.3 - with Scenario Editor & more
This is it! The biggest update so far, which has been in development for last few months, is now available on Steam. We proudly present Update 1.3 that will give you plenty of new stories to tell. Let's take a look at what we’ve prepared.

- Scenario Editor in which you can write your own stories of civilians in war. Pick up members of the group, length of the conflict, weather conditions and more – it’s all up to you!

- Character Editor where you can shape civilians, their look, skills, biographies and then play with them in the game. You can even add your photo and be a part of the story.

- two new locations: Old Town and Looted Gas Station. Of course they can be included in your scenario!

- two new music tracks, designed for the night missions!

For more details, to see the new locations and get more info on Scenario Editor - click on the Youtube video: https://youtu.be/q0vgRC7PD4U

LOG ---> this is the list of fixes and improvements included in Update 1.3

----------------------------------------
Additionally, here's a quick guide on how to add own photos to the character editor:
- only format ----> .jpg
- due to auto-adjusting, we recommend square resolution, for example 500x500
- place a jpg photo in Portraits folder in the game's main folder, which usually is here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\This War of Mine\Portraits
- restart the game after uploading photo to make the photo available in the editor

Of course, the update contains improvements, fixes and less important tech fixes. But the clue nevertheless is the set of Editors!
Great Stuff, Will be playing it soon :bandages1:
This is fantastic to hear but I have just finished installing it and the game won't open! I am playing it on Mac. Is there cloud save so I can uninstall the whole thing and try again?
Just wanted to start TWoM, got a huge download with over 400mb and was thinking "Omg, 1.3 is out :)"
Sooooo looking forward to play
Dear developers! Thank you very much for this update - you implemented everything i wished for! KUDOS!
@The Sforza Yes, the save should be on Steam's cloud. At first try to go to "Properties (of our game) -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of game cache...". If it won't fix the problem then You may try reinstalling it.

@The 47 Thanks for the quick reply. Tried verifying the game cache but all files reportedly verfiied and unfortunately same error, which I cannot be more detailed about because steam simply calls it an 'unknown error'. Will try reinstalling completely.
You just made an excellent game even better. Thank you!
Hi Devs, is it possible to get some Console Commands or something ?

@The 47 Thanks for your help - a reinstall did the trick. Thanks for great game too!
All hail the mighty pudding!
Is there a particular file type and size needed to add your own portraits (ie; .png, 200X212)? I've tried creating one and dropped it in the portraits folder but can't seem to get it to show up. Thanks for this update btw. This really makes a great game one of the best in my library!
