(Not a survival story but a sad story of a noob)
She resolved to return and kill the gang. Evil needed to be eliminated.
I went with Marko who went scavanging the Semi-Detached House, before I went their I knew caution was advised because people were there so I armed myself with an AK-47 expecting some tugs there. I sneaked to the door and heard 2 people talking: "If you didn't watch out Bozena will shoot you". At this point I thought their leader was a psycho. I waited for a perfect ambush moment and took the shot. After that I saw someone running towards me:" It must be one of their gang members with a knife I thought" and in a split second decision I opened fire, but when the first bullet hit she immediately started begging me to stop, which I did. She ran over to the girl I shot (Bozena) and just started crying... I just stood there and felt so bad after that. I was about to leave the area when I decided to leave a bandage and food behind which I was about to steal. Don't know why I did it, In-game it wouldn't reward me. But still I did it.
The raids got heavier until one left Pavle severly wounded. With nothing to barter for bandages, Bruno decided to steal from the hospital. He gave up revenge to keep his last friend alive. But a hospital guard caught him in the act and killed him. Pavle, knowing that the next bandit raid would leave him dead, went to the hospital hoping to be taken in, but the guard outside recognized him as one of Bruno's party and fired on him. Seeing that Pavle was lethally wounded, the guard saved his bullets and just escourted him at gunpoint back the way he came. Pavle returned to an empty home. A neighbor came by but left when it was clear that he couldn't help fetch an aid drop. Certain he was done for, Pavle limped over to the radio, tuned it to the classical station, and propped himself up in a nearby chair.
That night, the war ended.
In one of my earlier games, it was down to Zlata and Bruno. Both of them were sick, hungry, and Bruno was broken most of the time. It was also cold, and there was nothing. They could not do anything other than
But every time Bruno was broken, Zlata would always try to console him. She herself was sad, but even in her condition, she still put Bruno first and encouraged him to not give up and was optimistic till the end. She would always slowly move to where Bruno was, and would sit down with him, egging him to push on and persevere. Then she would slowly make way to her bed and rest.
But in the end, both of them died in their sleep.
But the way the game played out, it told a sad story of optimistic Zlata who didn't let her situation dampen her spirits, and always tried to console others.
I just played 2 hours of the game so its the most interesting story ive been trough till now :)
-Started off with Arica, Roman, and Bruno.
-Then Emilia joined the group.
-Sent Arica off to the church for the first time, with only a shovel. Got killed by bad guys.
-Both Bruno and Roman were severely wounded in night bandit attacks.
-Cveta joined the group.
-Roman went to pick up something with a neighbor, and never came back.
-Bruno died of severe wounds.
-After not being able to feed the hungry kids, both Cveta and Emilia became broken and spent the night that way. Emilia ran away during the night.
-Cveta, now depressed and alone, held her own for at least five days.
-Marin joined Cveta for about a week, he built heaters for the winter and scavenged.
-Marin got shot while scavenging the semi-detatched house. Cveta was all alone again.
But the thing is, Cveta didn't even get sad after Marin died. She just went about her business, and picked up the goods from his body that night. After a few days, the war ended, and she was sick, wounded, but not sad at all.
Hardcore Cveta got the good ending, posted above the deaths of everyone she'd lived with in her shelter.
