Sawblade single use
Why the ♥♥♥♥ is the sawbladed programmed to brake after one use? Makes no sense. And the crowbar after using it some times as well. Have you ever seen a crowbar brake? I haven't.

These aren't industrial-grade tools the survivors are using; they're most likely fashioned out of a wooden plank, some nails, improvised glue or tape, maybe part of a car door... etc.

Frankly, if I were in such a situation, I could maybe, just maybe, make something that resembles a crowbar (or a shiv lol)-- I'm not even sure how the hell I'd make a spiked, grating metal implement like a sawblade.

Oh a real crowbar can break/deform alright but only in the wrong hands in the wrong situation. But like the other poster said these aren't your industrial qualified tools but homemade stuff made from rubble and salvage.

It's possible to make a crowbar (solid iron pipe + grinding tool + bending tools) or sawblade (thin car plating + metal saw + metal drill + iron file) but the crowbar will bend out of shape eventualy because it was already bent a few times and the sawblade will have it's teeth deformed in no time because crafting the item made the metal weaker.

My advice: Use a little imagination. In reality these tools could take several hours to make by hand especially the sawblade with all it's teeth that need to be sharpened and alligned.

One should at least be able to find real tools that don't break while scavanging.

Those are the rules of the game mate. I reckon you are familiar with how that works by now.

About the crowbar you might be right, but the sawblade... meh. If i have to saw trough a metal door with a small self made saw blade there wont be much left from it afterwards I think...
