Depressed Coffee drinker who got coffee beans and water and a nice new chair and severals books !

I got coffee beans and water and my character have not take any coffee yet so how do i make him take coffee ?

22 days now and he have not yet take any coffee and he is depressed as well. I have made a chair and i got books but he won`t read them so how do i make him read these books when resting on the chair ?

Are you using mods. thats the only way you need water for it or to make them drink coffee. top left click the our things, read the desciption. Without mods you just leave them alone, they will read, smoke, or drink coffee when they are not busy.

I do not use any mods.

On the thought it said they are glad they have books available but i do not know if they use up a book by reading them or when they reading or if i need to place them in the chair to read a book.

When i load up the game i now se that the coffee beans is gone but i did not know who take it and when they take it and the coffee drinker is still depressed.

Ok, see now we're moving. So, about the books. They can be kept for "entertainment" or used for fires. They don;t get used up by reading, the next person can read them too.
Do this as a test, start the day and do nothing, just read what everybody says. Even if not sitting they will say something like, "I can get in a few chapters" Look at the smokers, they will be smoking. the coffee drinker, usually they are sitting and when you give them an order you will see them dump out the rest of their coffee as they get up.

Do i need to place them in the chair to read a book ?

About coffee beans i did not see any drink coffee or walk up to the kitchen to make one or sitting down in the chair and drinking it.

This is my first game where i doing the story with his daughter whi is gone so i have never seen him saying anything because he is alone and been busy and if not i have end the day.

They don't make coffee, they just drink it whenever. When you have coffee beans, check the our things each morning and see how many are being consumed. Its never obvious that they are drinking, smoking or reading.

Should we not get any indication when they drink coffee or something by themself so that we know ?

The indication is that they will always drink it if available. The our things description will tell you.
Place in chair to read, no. does it help, sure.

I got moonshine but he won`t drink it before he got his daughter.

I had coffee for more that 10 days without he touching it and when they take anything by themself we should been message about it someplace as on the thought info.

I was forced to do that several times mate before i place this thread and as last chance i made this thread and still it do not work maybe because of this bugged Adams and his doughter game/story.
