Is there no tutorial in this game?
I just loaded this game up for the first time (final cut), and I start a game...and I have NO IDEA what I'm supposed to do. The game doesn't tell me anything about what my goals are, how the controls work, nothing. Is there a tutorial somewhere in the game I'm missing somehow?

I don't mind there not being a tutorial, but I do mind it not being obvious when being told to leave, especially if there's more than just one person on screen.
My first guy just died because I missed the threats whilst looking around the area with my mouse so they killed him. I would have just left.
I'm figuring stuff out, but it's so strange that it doesn't have a tutorial. Like, I'm not sure how radios and stuff like that work. I turn it on, I find some music, and I leave it playing. I never notice it really don't anything though. Are my people supposed to stand near it? Sleep near it? Is it just supposed to play in the house and will do...something? I have no idea. Stuff like that is frustrating

while using the radio, you should scroll the wheel and look for other broadcasting stations, there'll be info about the city events and upcoming weather. other than that, it's just music. it doesn't affect your characters in any way [as far as I know], just another part of the soundtrack which you can choose if the original one doesn't fit you.

UPD: I checked the wiki, turns out classical music actually boosts your characters' morale. good thing to know then

Ultimately it's the kind of game that expects you to experiment with the environment and figure things out on your own. That works for some people, and not for others.

Just like the good old days, right? What else can you ask for?

Hi guys! I know this might sound a bit strange at first but the game’s not featuring any kind of tutorial on purpose. Part of the design is to make you feel just like as civilians caught amidst the chaos of war, scared, confused and often helpless. Unfortunately more often than not people in such conditions don’t have any sort of guidance and have to figure everything out themselves knowing that each small mistake could cost them their lives or the lives of people they care for. The game’s not meant to be completed perfectly on the first run, it’s more of a trial and error process. If you need some support, check out the Guides section here on Steam. Also, there are plenty of tutorials on youtube that might be worth watching :)
Take care!
