Once you get the hang of it, knowing what to trade, what you need for a certain amount of days it just comes down to knowing where to find it.
For example, when you just start a new game, every odd day you only have to feed your survivors.
Meaning, day 3, day 5, day 7 etc.
Still though, it still feels like I'm just barely surviving every day, every night is super tense.
Knowing you can die at any time etc.
But the game itself relies and limited resource management and some luck with the randomly generated world. So it can be very difficult, especially when you don't really know what you're going to do next or can't keep track of the resources you have.
I personally play with a piece of paper next to me to write down what I have and what I'm after so I know which places I want to go and what I'm looking for exactly when I get there.
There's a bit of a learning curve up front. I'd recommend a playthrough or two, then read a beginners guide. It makes it a lot more fun once you know about things like how often they need to eat, how to be safe at night, how the "mood" system works, etc. I was lasting 10 days, give or take, but now that I know about all that stuff, it feels like I could play forever.
He's lying ^^^ and a troll and I bet he can't even get past the loading screen :)
Dude's profile doesn't even show him as having the game...?
I wouldn't say it's "easy," but once you learn about the game mechanics, you should be able to "win" most of the three-person games.
>Two survivors is fairly hard, and just one is REALLY a pain
I burst out laughing at this. Lol
As for OP's question, this game has a steep learning curve, but once you know the mechanics, you can win anything.
Edit: Added the spoiler tag in case you're that 5%.
I guess it was the WAY you said it and blurted out the SPOILERS of how that made you a troll then. Had you just said there are ways without blurting out the spoilers I might have thought differently of you. ;))
Okay, I lost. 95% players know that though so I don't think it's a spoiler anymore.
I swear, I'm not a troll. I didn't even intend to troll.
I'm a new player so I'm not part of that 95%. The game is onsale so you're going to have new players that don't know these things coming to the forums. Don't spoil it by telling what this does or that. Like you said 95% of the players already know it why you need to tell them again? :))
