Teaching?

I played through Father's promise and I really love this game, I decided to play as Christo and Iskra next but I am coming to a problem, I can't teach the child anything. Well, not ANYTHING. I could teach her how to cook and make 1 filter and 1 fuel...but that's it? As I have seen some of the achievement information you're supposed to be able to teach the children a lot more right? The teach button is now greyed out for me no matter what I try to teach her. I have no mods, I just started playing this game and I don't plan on modding. Her mood is stable, its not the metal workbench. I am using K&M. Any suggestions?

Here the tools and what can be teachs to children

• Workshop
  
  1. Filter
     
  2. Fuel
  
  
• Herbal Workshop
  
  1. Bandages
     
  2. Homegrown Tobacco
     
  3. Roll-Up Cigarette
     
  4. Cigarette
     
  5. Quality Roll-Up (Need upgraded Herbal Workshop)
  
  
• Garden
  
  1. Fertilizer
     
  2. Herbs
     
  3. Vegetables (Need upgraded Garden)
  
  
• Stove, teach cooking and it will automatically teach both cooking food with Vegetables or not.
  
  
• Rainwater Collector, make clean water with filter.
  
  
• Trap (Need upgraded Workshop Tier 2), teaching how to get animal meat 3 ways aoutomatically

Note: Workshop Tier 3 and Electronic parts needed to upgrade both Herbal Workshop and Garden. DON'T SELL Electronic parts, this is very limited resource and NPC who sell them that I know is in place called Garage that might not show on your play through.
