A post actually about the game? Holy crap!

Was playing a run with Roman and Emilia. Had a father and his daughter show up and knock at the door, but before I could even have anybody answer it the daughter says "You're leaving me out here to die!" and wanders off. I was able to answer the door for the father and let him in, but the daughter didn't come back. Is there a way to get her back? I quit the day so I can try again or else get another event if it's random with each reload, but wondering if there's some other way to make the kid come back if they wander of again. Don't know how it will impact the rest of the run if the dad thinks the girl is around but she isn't.

This happened to me as well, the young man wanted to drop off the little boy scenario. Before I ran to the door, the kid ran off despite agreeing to let him stay with the guardian.
I quick logged out because it was a 70 day workshop war and I would NOT let it get screwed up! Katia came after the reload instead.
I think this should be moved to the bug report section?
Anyone else having this issue?

I had the same problem and reloading does not help, I reloaded 3 times and child visitor always leaves shelter as soon as they arrive. I did not activate any mods. It is a game crashing bug, I hope it can gets fixed soon.

Devs didn't ever fix this.. I am still having this problem with Roman and Katia
