11-bit studios are partnered with Warchild.
Warchild is a none-profit charity that was founded in 1994 in the U.K that helps children that live in war areas all across the world.
In 2020, Warchild used 89% of the money donated to charity projects. With the money donated in 2020, they were able to help 171,992 children.
I think this charity is different since it goes to the Red Cross in Ukraine, meaning it will help any civilian who currently does not have food & shelter due to the Russian invasion.
Red Cross uses 90% of the money donated for charity.
All reputable charities give around the same amount.
GoodWill is one of the lowest with 82%
It all seems pretty legit - you can also just donate directly.
Also note: In the video game industry, $160,000 is really not that much.
Most popular games cost 10-50 million to make. Look up "budget GTA 5" kinda crazy.
